Introduction

A quotation is a simple document where you can offer your products to the client using a professional looking document. Creating a quotation is simple. Navigate to the "Quotations" section and click on "New Quotation". Choose the customer and the desired expiry date, add your items and save. After saving the quotation, a unique number will be assigned to the quotation. Please review our document numbering system article.


Quotations Attributes

  • Expiry Date
    Any future date indicating the expiry of your offered prices to your customers
  • Customer
    A drop-down menu to choose the customer, or you can create one on-the-fly
  • Items
    The items that you want to offer. You can edit the price, quantity, and tax group.
  • Terms And Conditions
    You may add a predefined terms and conditions template.



Note:

Like all documents, the quotation will be saved as a draft first so you can review it and make sure all are good to go.




Available actions:

  • Print: After submitting your quotation, you may print it immediately.
  • Replicate: you can create another copy of the quotation. It will use the same assigned attributes and you're free to change them before submitting it.
